Utilising class leading technology developed for the flagship G9 kit, the G5 offers the same high performance audio processors, extended connectivity and pro audio recording tools in a more focused and user friendly workstation, perfectly suited for live performance.
The GEWA G5 Studio series comes with a sturdy rack developed by GEWA.
The beating heart of the G5 is undoubtedly the Drum Workstation. This module is incredibly powerful yet surprisingly intuitive. The multi-chip architecture designates specific processing power to sound generation & trigger detection. Each chip has its own purpose and can therefore perform its task with consummate ease. This class-leading technology means you're able to configure your drums in ways that have been previously unattainable. Real acoustic drums were sampled at the famous Funkhaus Studios in Berlin, but not just close up. The ambient sounds of the room were also recorded and these can be dialled in with ease. This functionality allows you to easily add an incredible natural ambient sound to your drums with just one fader!
The GEWA G5 is aimed at the advanced drummer who wants to fully focus on their performance rather than the technical refinements and possibilities of an electronic drum kit. In the GEWA G5 module, the touchscreen has been replaced by hardware buttons and a modern OLED display. This makes operation particularly intuitive and all important functions are directly available.
